Fluffy Inside's techno journeys are for the brain as well as the booty.

Deep funky hypnotic acid lines lurk beneath dark ethereal atmospheres, propelled by throbbing kicks and morphing detailed percussion. Fluffy Inside tracks take ominous twists and turns, but you will always want to see where the trip takes you.

Glasgow in the early 90s and the need for escapism and hedonism came together perfectly through otherworldly pulses from Djax Up Beats, Plastikman, Harthouse, Air Liquide and the Cologne scene, Thomas P Heckmann, Force Inc etc. These sounds and textures consumed the soul of Paul Alexander (aka Fluffy Inside). Many years of fevered vinyl collecting, weekend club nights and hazy LSD sessions in the garage with a cheap strobe light, were to follow.

Fate dropped a TR727 into Paul’s lap in 2001...humble kit beginnings quickly led to acquiring debt to get hands on grooveboxes and lesser known (cheap) analogue toys. Daily jam sessions with a friend produced many hours of rough funky psychedelic electronica. While amazing fun was had learning how to manipulate the machine, the material was not fit for public consumption until a netlabel picked up the Heavy Concentration album under the moniker Pandacetamol in 2008.

There are now 25 Pandacetamol outputs across many international labels, including XXC3, Kahvi Collective, Alex-Tronic Records, Rec72, and Liquid Sky Berlin. More recently, the Audio Creep album on Rednetic Recordings has been spangling brains across the globe.

Getting back to his roots of dark and exciting acid techno, Paul unleashed the first Fluffy Inside EP in early 2020: Liquidity Risk on Acid606-61. Then came a relentless stream of acid EPs and appearances on Ghost Program Records (Belgium), Pulsewave (Japan), SMR Underground (Italy) and more on Acid606-61.

Paul's explorations into the dark recesses of his music machines continue apace. Expect many more excursions to fry your brain. Dark, fluid and unpredictable, but always Fluffy Inside...
